Sybil, who started at CBS as an intern for
Pugs & Kelly in 2001, will continue her long-time roles on The Fan hosting the
Saturday Morning Test Drive with Autoflex Leasing and personal endorsement spots with
Home Marketing Services. And on Monday she'll debut with a 1-3 p.m. shift on her new home,
103.7 KVIL. She'll also work weekend shifts and be a regular voice as hosts like Leigh Ann and Jonathan Doll take summer vacations.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of this legendary Dallas station and to stay within the CBS Radio family," Sybil said to me on the couch while eating a salad, petting her dogs and preparing for yet another episode of
Real Housewives of ... Everywhere. "Hopefully some of the
RAGE listeners will tune in to KVIL to hear a familiar voice. And this is something their wives will enjoy too!"
KVIL, a heritage station in Dallas/Highland Park since 1961 - hence the the callsign Highland ParK VILlage - is enjoying its latest incarnation after being the home of the Dallas Cowboys, Christmas music and, of course, radio icon Ron Chapman. The station has refreshingly left the '70s and '80s in the dust and these days offers a more hip brand of adult contemporary music. More Selena Gomez; Less Linda Ronstadt. In other words, Sybil will be spinning the best variety of "90s, 2k & Today."
Not sure every day will be "Tuesday Tunesday", but I am excited to hear the new version of "Sybil's Stuff." Now you know where to hear her and, as always, you can also see her at

I was going to chirp "She's baaaaaack!" But, unlike - ahem - some of us on
RAGE, Sybil technically never left.
Considering your relationship with Sybil, and your un-relationship with Spittle...will this make for some uncomfortable passings in the hallways? And Happy for Sybil!
