Women > Wimbledon: The Top 15 Hottest Players in the History of Tennis

Andy Murray's three-set win over Novak Djokovic in Sunday's Wimbledon final was an epic triumph for England Great Britain The United Kingdom The British Iles Scotland!
   Wait, What The What?!
Murray is from Scotland, a country with its own government and own flag. How then, can all of England claim him as theirs? They hail him as the first "Brit" to win the Gentlemen's Championship at the All England Lawn Tennis Club since Fred Perry in 1936.
But anyone whose historical acumen is as deep as Braveheart realizes Scotland and England are hardly one in the same. The two countries play against each other in rugby and next month at Wembley Stadium there is a huge soccer match pitting, yep, England vs. Scotland.
Imagine the United States celebrating a Wimbledon win by a player from Guam or Puerto Rico or Canada as one by an "American." It's rubbish, I say.
Tennis is fantastic. From its best-in-sports replay system to no coaching and no timeouts and the fact that Murray got a huge assist on Sunday from what Juan Martin Del Potro did to Djokovic on Friday - 5 sets over 4 hours.
But, I know, we watch tennis for totally different reasons. Me: the shots. You: the skirts.
This year's Ladies' champion Marion Bartoli certainly won't make this draw, but to get us to both Love the sport I offer my Top 15 hottest players of all-time ...

    2. I agree. Terrible, lame topic. Steam is down to a few intermittent puffs of smoke.

  2. Well done with Caroline being in there. Very underrated and amazingly beautiful.

Not a bad list at all, but mine would have probably had to have some room somewhere on it for a way-back-then Jennifer Capriati.

  3. I'd like an honorable mention shout out to Simona Halep pre-2009 breast reduction from 34DD to 34C. Brings a tear to my eye.

  4. Are you really so dense that you do not know the differences between the UK, England and Scotland? Pick up a history book so you can speak intelligently and make such ignorant commentary or just go to the pictures of gals.

    1. Good try. Not even people who live there are sure of the differences. And I didn't even bring up Wales.

    2. That wasn't really your though-out response. That would be like suggesting that some people living in the US don't know that Texas is a state. So you can be as dumb as they are. Scotland and England have been united since 1707 and under the same monarch since roughly 1600 (after Queen Elizabeth I). Ya think that piece of information hasn't sunk in within the UK yet? Sheesh.

  6. Andy Murray is a Brit. Scotland is on the island of Great Britain. English, Scots, & Welsh are all Brits.

  7. For the poster that mentioned Simona Halep - She gained "fame" at age 15-16 and had the reduction surgery when she was 17. So you're mourning getting your kicks off watching a child with big boobs -classy!
